Imitatio invited a number of Latin-American researchers and teachers who make use of Mimetic Theory in their work to participate in the Conference, which Imitatio helped to sponsor and organise, held at the Pontifical Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia from 8-10th June. The Conference, entitled "Mimesis and Identity: the reach of Girard's thought in Latin America" started with two days of presentations and debates among the participants. On the third day our invited guests had a reserved meeting in order to think through future plans, needs and possibilities for the development of a Girardian network in Latin America.
